There are a range of content types that can be created using Drupal on soundhouse.org.au. As mentioned earlier, what you are able to create will vary according to your user account permissions. To see what types of content you are able to create you will first need to have an account with soundhouse.org.au and be logged in. This will activate your user menu, allowing you to open the "Create Content" section to view the various types of content creation tools you are able to access.
For newcomers to a Drupal based web system, it is not always obvious which content types will suit their needs, let alone how to use it or even what each particular content type actually creates.
When creating content, there are usually a few fields of information that should be filled in, such as "Title" as well as something in the body of the content type. In addition there are often quite a number of extra choices that can be made. Often these "extras" sections are collapsed and you may need to expand them to see what else can be added to the content type that you are creating.
The following pages of this section are designed to help you understand the content creation types, what they create and how to use them.
